Saivorit is a web application designed to help people preserve, organize, and share family recipes that might otherwise be lost to time. From handwritten cards tucked in drawers to recipes scattered across websites, Saivorit brings everything into one thoughtful, modern experience.
The product uses AI to transform physical and digital recipes into structured, editable formats. What makes Saivorit special is not just digitization, but how it respects the personal and emotional value behind each recipe while making them easier to cook, adapt, and share today.
Family recipes are fragile.
Many exist only as handwritten notes, fading paper, or old photos. Others live across blogs, bookmarks, and screenshots with no consistent way to organize them. Over time, recipes are lost, details fade, and sharing becomes difficult.
Most recipe apps focus on discovery or meal planning. They are not built for preservation, personal history, or handwritten content. Saivorit was created to fill that gap.
We designed Saivorit around a simple idea: let AI do the heavy lifting while keeping the experience human and personal.
Users can capture recipes in multiple ways, including photos of handwritten cards, PDFs, or direct links to recipe websites. Saivorit automatically extracts ingredients, steps, timings, and notes into a clean, editable format.
From there, users can organize recipes into collections, add personal notes, create variations, and share recipes privately or publicly with family and friends.
AI powers several core workflows in Saivorit:
AI analyzes images, PDFs, and web pages to extract structured recipe data including ingredients, quantities, steps, tips, and notes.
Saivorit generates cookbook-worthy images using a two-step process: first crafting a detailed visual prompt based on the recipe, then producing a high-quality image aligned with that prompt.
Users can create new versions of a recipe by scaling servings, adjusting for dietary needs, or making healthier variations. Each change creates a new version while preserving the original.
AI remains largely invisible, supporting the experience without overwhelming it.
